Eiliv Frich Flydal

Eiliv Frich Flydal is an investigative reporter at the Norwegian daily Dagbladet in Oslo. He is now on the board of the Association for Critical and Investigative Press, in Norway (SKUP).

In 2017 a project on the failing garbage handling in Oslo revealed massive violations of the Working environment act, triggered a police investigation, and won the national Data SKUP award for excellence in investigative reporting and journalistic methods. The same year a project on money spending in the Norwegian Royal house, revealed abuse of public funds and won a SKUP diploma. The findings led to several changes in both the national budgets and how the Royal house handles and report on the spending of public funds.

He also worked on a projects about sexual abuse in the health system, revealing hos sex offenders are let back into the health care system both in Norway and Europe. The project led to changes in national health authorities handling of abuse committed by foreign health workers.
