Mostafa Elmarsafawy, an Egyptian investigative reporter and TV producer, with thirteen years track record of producing high-quality print, television, and online reports for Egyptian and Arabs broadcast network. Extensive knowledge of Middle East politics and current affairs. Coverage includes ground-breaking stories and in-depth investigative features concerning the Egyptian revolution and its aftermath, governmental and corporate corruption, conflict in Sinai.

He is working now as a senior editor, at ARIJ corporation “Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism” , coaching journalists to producing TV investigations in a long, short and digital forms across the whole Arabic world, and broadcasting with international platforms as BBC,  DW and other local TV and digital platforms.

Last year, he won a prize from “ARIJ” for his long form investigative film “Death in service”, it was broadcast on BBC World and Arabic, he spent two years investigating suicides and suspicious deaths of conscripts in Egypt's Central Security Forces. His report contains exclusive access to documents and testimony, and presents evidence of serious abuse, murder and cover-ups. while the state institutions and the judiciary turn a blind eye against these systematic violations.

Two months After the broadcast, one of the officers who shown in the film, was sentenced to jail for three years.
