I'm interested in empathetic documentary storytelling about everyday people around the world, with a focus on human rights, politics, migration, the environment, and other social issues. I work in radio, photography, the printed word, multimedia, and public installations, and I'm especially interested in cross-country collaborations.

Since 2005, I've been invested in advancing my vision of a more inclusive and diverse approach to journalism, focusing on communities and issues across the U.S. and Latin America that are often underrepresented or misunderstood by the media. I also run LatAm Storytellers, a platform connecting storytellers in Latin America to each other, to gigs, and funding opportunities.
