Sean O’Driscoll is an investigative journalist who worked for four years in the UAE. His investigations into migrant worker rights have appeared in the Guardian, the New York Times, The Sunday Times and other publications. He was deported from the UAE in October, 2014 and is now a staff member of the UK Times newspaper. He is currently working on a documentary for Vice-HBO on the treatment of construction workers in the UAE and a BBC documentary on the rights of migrant women in the Arabian Gulf. He is also a human rights lawyer who spent four years working on religious and political asylum cases in New York
