Valer oversees the digital development and data-driven insights of MDIF's portfolio. His background includes more than 15 years in publishing, technology, and digital media, providing him with understanding of digital innovation, monetization strategies, audience and market analysis. Prior to joining MDIF in 2013, he was the Head of Digital at Petit Press (a leading publishing house in Slovakia) and as the Chief Operating Officer at Piano (a subscription management provider for publishers). He graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Comenius University.
